Russell Brand 'comforted by ex Kate Moss over Katy Perry divorce'

Russell Brand is reportedly being comforted by Kate Moss in the wake of his separation from Katy Perry.
The comedian was granted a divorce from Perry on Tuesday (February 7), having filed to end their 14-month marriage back in December.
Moss, who is believed to have secretly dated Brand in 2006, has since come forward to support the 36-year-old and is even offering to set him up on dates, according to Now.
"She wanted him to know he has friends he can rely on," sources said. "Kate's always had a huge soft spot for him and she sent a wedding gift when Russell got married in 2010.
"She knows how heavily the divorce will be weighing on him and she wanted him to know that she cares."
Brand admitted in his 2010 autobiography Booky Wook 2 that he had a "mad infatuation" with Moss.
"I didn't feel all cool. It didn't feel like a conquest, it felt like a fall down a well," he wrote. "I felt totally overwhelmed because she is obviously incredibly beautiful and she is Kate Moss."
