Lance Bass has spoken about his experiences since coming out.

The former N*Sync member revealed he was gay at the start of the summer, and is now dating US reality TV star Reichan Lehmkuhl.

He admits that his move has turned his life around and helped his career: "I’m totally happy, like a different person. It sucks with all the lies you have to tell, especially in the business. Now it’s like, ‘Wow, I don’t have to tell any lies to get jobs, so it’s cool.’

"Personally, nothing has changed. I have the same friends, the same family. Everybody’s been very supportive."

Bass admits telling his mum was a hard thing to do: "She was a little shocked," he said.
