'Alcatraz' star Parminder Nagra files for divorce from husband

Nagra apparently filed paperwork to officially end her marriage just three years after the couple tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony attended by her former ER co-stars John Stamos and Maura Tierney.
The actress has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of the separation, according to TMZ.
The couple dated for seven years before they tied the knot in January 2009.
Nagra is perhaps best known for her starring role in the comedy Bend It Like Beckham, which became a surprise international hit in 2002.
She has also notably played Dr Neela Rasgotra in ER and currently appears as Lucy Bannerjee in JJ Abrams's Fox series Alcatraz.
