Beyoncé mother Tina Knowles: 'Blue Ivy Carter doing great'

Beyoncé's mother has said that she is enjoying being a grandparent to Blue Ivy Carter.

Tina Knowles stated that the newborn has been doing well since entering into the world in early January.

"She's doing great," Tina told People. "She's beautiful."

She went on to open up about how much fun she is having being a grandmother for the second time.

"It's the second best job I've ever had," Tina joked.

Beyoncé made her first post-pregnancy appearance on February 6 while supporting husband Jay-Z's two-night stint at New York's Carnegie Hall.
