The Australian actor, singer and comedian, who is best known for his role as Mick Holland in Channel Ten's award-winning drama Offspring, said that he will be like a modern-day version of Pride and Prejudice's patriarch once he welcomes a second daughter with wife Lucy Cochran soon.
Perfect told the Herald Sun: "I'm going to be like Mr Bennet with all these crazy girls running around the house. We're not due for another week, but [the] second baby can come at any moment, so I'm on call."
As well as filming the third series of Offspring, Perfect recently spent some time in the studio with Nicolas Di Cecco, one of the children from revived TV show Young Talent Time.
He said of the mentor role: "Music had a very positive influence on my life from a very early age, so the more chance you get to mentor young people, the better."
Di Cecco added: "It's great to meet Eddie. He's a really good singer, actor and dancer - and that's what I want to be."
Perfect's Offspring co-star Kat Stewart recently became a mother for the first time when she and husband David Whiteley welcomed baby son Archie.
