Whitney Houston was happy in the days leading up to her death, friends have revealed.
The singer is said to have visited family, caught up with old friends and rehearsed for Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party over the past week.

The 48-year-old was found dead in her hotel room on Saturday (Febraury 11) by a member of her entourage. Emergency services were called but efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
Houston performed 'Yes, Jesus Loves Me' with Kelly Price on stage at a Hollywood club on Thursday and later chatted to the singer about her life and family.

"Whitney on Thursday night was one of the girls. She was happy," Price told People. "She was the Whitney I always knew.
"I never ever imagined I'd be talking about her because she's not here."
Soul singer Kenny Lattimore, who co-hosted Thursday's R&B event, said Houston had appeared to be enjoying herself, describing her death as "such a shock for me".
The Grammy Awards will pay tribute to Houston later tonight with a special performance from Jennifer Hudson.
