Frances Bean Cobain has revealed that she would like to act and direct, rather than pursue a career in music like her parents.

The 14-year-old has close experience of the pressures associated with working in the music industry, having lost her father Kurt Cobain to suicide when she was a toddler and watched her mother Courtney Love battle drug addiction, but is still keen to work in Hollywood.

She told Contactmusic: "I'd much rather act and direct, and I really like photography. I'm a bit of a bossy-boots."
