Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson decided to abandon their game of golf when a bobcat emerged from some bushes and ran onto the course.

The two actors recently worked together on The Departed, and since then Nicholson has been teaching his co-star a bit about his beloved pastime.

However, the Hollywood old hand did not expect an extra guest to appear in the game at a golf club in Los Angeles.

A source told WENN: "Leo's new to the sport and was getting some pointers from Jack when a bobcat appeared at the 15th hole. Jack told him to run like hell. They jumped in their golf cart and fled."
