Hugh Hefner given 'Humanitarian of the Year' award

Hugh Hefner was yesterday named 'Humanitarian of the Year' by the organisation Angelwish.
The Playboy founder was presented with the honour at a party at the Playboy Mansion, after the 54th Grammy Awards had ended.
Hefner wrote on Twitter that Pamela Anderson handed him the award at a ceremony hosted by Sean 'P Diddy' Combs.
He also tweeted after the presentation that Jenny McCarthy had been "here to lend her support", and declared: "It was a grand evening."
Angelwish is an organisation which grants wishes to children with chronic illnesses.
Charity founder Shimmy Mehta said: "We are especially excited that we will get to honour Mr Hefner with our 'Humanitarian of the Year' award for all his charitable efforts over the years."
