Tributes to Whitney Houston have continued to pour in from the world of entertainment.
Speaking to Absolute Radio on last night's BAFTA Film Awards red carpet, George Clooney, Tom Jones, Daniel Radcliffe, Kenneth Branagh and Viola Davis joined those who had already reacted to the star's passing at the weekend.
Clooney said: "She'll be remembered as one of the greats who changed music and certainly changed the kind of singing that took place, starting in the mid-80s... What it really is is unbelievably sad."
Jones added: "Whitney was a great singer - she was my favourite female singer. The best voice, the most natural, sexy-sounding person that I've ever heard.
"It's a shame that talent like that has to be cut short."
Jennifer Hudson performed 'I Will Always Love You' in Houston's memory at last night's Grammy Awards, while rapper LL Cool J acknowledged "a death in our family".
Music manager Sharon Osbourne has said that Houston's death should inspire people to have more compassion for those addicted to drugs.
