'White Collar' star Matt Bomer comes out as gay during awards speech

Matt Bomer has come out as gay.
The In Time actor received the New Generation Arts and Activism Award at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards on Saturday, where he thanked his long-time partner Simon Halls and their three children during his acceptance speech.
"I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry," he told the crowd while accepting recognition for his work in fighting HIV/AIDS.
"Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment."
Bomer can currently be seen in White Collar on USA and has signed to appear beside Channing Tatum in Magic Mike.
He was also recently cast in Glee, as Blaine's (Darren Criss) older brother.
Bomer has joked that putting on a thong for the film was "hard" for him to do as a man.
