Brandy on Whitney Houston death: "My heart is destroyed"

Brandy has expressed her sadness over the death of Whitney Houston.
Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hilton Hotel room on Saturday afternoon (February 11). She was 48.


Brandy, who starred with Houston in the 1997 TV remake of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, paid public tribute to the 'I Will Always Love You' singer on Monday.
"My heart is destroyed. I lost my idol and dear friend," she told US Weekly in a statement.
"My prayers go out to Whitney's family and her millions of fans around the world. Whitney - the greatest voice of all time - you are my angel and I will always and forever love you."
It was alleged on Monday that Houston's funeral will take place in Newark, New Jersey on Friday (February 17).
