The Civil Wars singer Joy Williams pregnant with first child

Joy Williams has revealed that she and husband Nate Yetton are expecting their first child.

The Civil Wars singer announced via her Twitter page that she will give birth to the baby in June.

"Beyond elated to share that Nate & I are expecting our first child in late June!!! My baby bump & I will see you on the red carpet. :)" she wrote.

After being congratulated by a fan for touring relentlessly through her first trimester, Williams replied that she had "24 hour morning sickness for months".

"There were days I thought it would never go away..." she revealed.

The Civil Wars earned two Grammy Awards during Sunday night's (February 12) ceremony, including one for 'Best Country Duo/Group Performance' for 'Barton's Hollow'.

The band have also recently collaborated with Taylor Swift on 'Safe and Sound' for The Hunger Games soundtrack.
