Blake Lively gets temporary restraining order against fan

Blake Lively has filed a restraining order against a male fan.

The Gossip Girl star's case was taken to Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (February 14), where she requested that Sergei Mifle remain at a significant distance from her and her property.

Lively and her mother Elain, 64, are both protected by the order, which states that Mifle is not to come within 100 yards, nor harass, intimidate, stalk or contact them.

However, the restraining order is only temporary and will expire on March 2, when the parties are to attend a court hearing.

The documents, which have been obtained by E! Online, claim: "Respondent Mifle has contacted Elain Lively multiple times by telephone and by email," and that he "left Elain a voicemail saying, in effect, 'I really would like to not wait anymore for a phone call', and that he needs to talk to Blake Lively 'before it's too late'."

The petition also states that the 24-year-old felt "anxious and worried and fearful when she learned of Respondent Mifle's harassment and stalking behaviour".

Lively was prompted to take action after Mifle apparently appeared on the set of Gossip Girl on February 1, telling security that he was there to see her because he had a "metaphysical" and "spiritual" connection to her and he was there to "guide her".

Lawyers for the actress allege that Mifle's "stalking behaviour has intensified" since and that Lively is concerned that without the order, Mifle would show up on set again as public filming locations can be "easily obtained".
