Fans of the late Whitney Houston have been urged by police to stay away from her funeral this weekend.
The 'I Will Always Love You' singer will be laid to rest at a private service in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday (February 18), one week after she was found dead at the age of 48 in a Los Angeles hotel.

Local authorities have said that streets around the New Hope Baptist Church will be closed while the funeral takes place and asked that fans respect the family's privacy.
"There's not going to be anyone allowed within the inner perimeter that's going to be set up around the church, other than people who are invited," police director Samuel DeMaio said.
"I would advise the public that there really is going to be nothing to see here at the church. The best thing to do would be to stay home and watch the service on television.
"The privacy the family is seeking for the funeral... [the Newark Police Department] is going to do everything they can to ensure that."
As well as being broadcast on satellite channels such as E!, Houston's funeral will be streamed live online.
Her Bodyguard co-star Kevin Costner and friend Clive Davis will speak at the service, while Stevie Wonder and Houston's godmother Aretha Franklin are to perform.
A private viewing of her body is being held today (February 17).
