Whitney Houston's family gathered at the Whigham funeral home in Newark, New Jersey yesterday (February 17).
Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, mother Cissy Houston, cousin Dionne Warwick and mentor and close friend Clive Davis all arrived for the planned private viewing last night ahead of Houston's funeral later today (February 18).

Other family members were also present, with funeral director Caroline Whigham telling the waiting crowd that the viewing "was done in privacy. It was between a mother, a daughter, two brothers and a family," People reports.
The singer was found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton Hotel suite on February 11.
Bobbi Kristina, who was briefly hospitalised following her mother's death, is said to be spending most of her time with grandmother Cissy.

"There are moments when she is strong and moments when it all hits her. She can't escape it," a source told the magazine.
Houston's invitation-only funeral, which is to be streamed live on the internet, will take place this afternoon at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. Davis and Kevin Costner are expected to speak at the service.
Aretha Franklin has also been asked to perform, while Alicia Keys and Tyler Perry will both be in attendance.
