Jennifer Aniston receives star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Jennifer Aniston has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Friends actress was joined by her boyfriend Justin Theroux - plus the stars of her new movie Wanderlust Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn - as she showed up in Los Angeles to receive the honour.
Adam Sandler - who appeared with Aniston in Just Go With It - gave a humourous speech during Wednesday's ceremony (February 22).
He joked: "She prayed for three things. To have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her haircut, to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here."
Aniston has made a number of cameos on television shows - including Cougar Town with her Friends colleague Courteney Cox - and has supported friend Chelsea Handler on After Lately. However, the Walk of Fame star honours her achievements in film.
The 43-year-old is the first Friends star to become immortalised on the famous Hollywood Boulevard strip, and her star makes up the 2,462nd to grace the well-known pavement.
Aniston's new motion picture Wanderlust, which also stars Paul Rudd, opens on Friday (February 24) in the US and on March 2 in the UK.
