Blogger sorry for calling Kim Kardashian's marriage 'a sham'

A blogger who claimed to be Kim Kardashian's former publicist has apologised after claiming that her marriage to Kris Humphries was a sham.
Jonathan Jaxson made a claim that the couple's wedding had been a publicity stunt shortly after their 72-day marriage ended, and had also alleged that Kardashian already owned the engagement ring presented to her on screen by Humphries.
However, he has now apologised after reaching a settlement with Kardashian and her lawyers, further details of which have been kept private.
Jaxson said on his blog: "I wanted to apologise publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian.
"I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim's relationship with Kris. Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only and was not intended to imply first hand knowledge of Kim's thoughts and feelings."
Kardashian also issued a statement to E! News through her lawyer Todd Wilson which read: "[Kim is] very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson.
"As part of the confidential settlement, Mr Jaxson has issued a public apology to Kim. Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter."
