Jay Z spends $1m on Beyonce's birthday

Jay Z has spent a cool $1 million on a present for his girlfriend Beyonce Knowles on her 25th birthday.

According to the New York Post, the rapper chose a 1959 Rolls Royce convertible to give to the 'Deja Vu' singer, with a price tag of around £555,000.

On her special day, Beyonce was also treated to a party at Jay Z's New York club 40/40, where her mother Tina cooked spent hours "cooking her secret family recipe of seafood gumbo" for 600 guests.
