The Hunger Games actress confessed that she hopes the highly-anticipated film does not thrust her into the spotlight, as was the case with Kristen Stewart in The Twilight Saga.
"I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, 'I'd never want to be that famous'," Lawrence told the British Glamour.
"I can't imagine how I'd feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium," she added.
The Hunger Games recently set a company record for the advance ticketing site Fandango in the first day of sales.
Dayo Okeniyi, who plays Thresh in the upcoming film, described Lawrence as a "goofball", saying that she would make him laugh during takes.
The Hunger Games opens in cinemas in the US and the UK on March 23.
