Daniel Craig has complained that Los Angeles "doesn't feel like a proper city".

The Casino Royale actor is expecting a backlash after he criticised LA's lack of nightlife.

"There's no social scene there," he is quoted by the Daily Star as saying. "You can't party in LA. Everything closes at 10 o'clock! It doesn't feel like a proper city. Perhaps I shouldn't have said that - I'm going to get hate mail now."
