P Diddy drops name in UK

P Diddy will not be able to use his stage name in in the UK, after a British artist already using the moniker reached an out-of-court settlement with the rapper.
Richard 'Diddy' Dearlove has been using his nickname since 1992, and reached the settlement with Sean 'P Diddy' Combs before the matter reached the Royal Courts of Justice on October 23.
Combs paid Dearlove around £110,000 in the settlement, and agreed not to use the 'Diddy' name in the UK from now on.
Dearlove reached number 23 in the UK charts in 1997 with 'Give Me Love'..
