Courtney Love's ex-assistant is currently trying to sell a tell-all book about the troubled star, it has been reported.

According to TMZ the book is called Get Me a Xanax, and will chronicle former assistant Jessica Labrie's time with Love between 2010 and 2011.

In its proposal, the book is described as an "unprecedented glimpse into the daily life of the chaotic widow of Kurt Cobain, by an innocuous girl who had the extraordinary chance to witness it all."

Labrie states that, during her time with the singer, Love had an ongoing addiction to cocaine, Xanax, and Adderall. Love has long displayed erratic behaviour, even though she claims that she's been sober for years. She was recently evicted from her New York apartment after complaints from the landlord about small fires.

This is not Love's first experience dealing with unauthorised books about her life. In February she launched a lawsuit against a website that published an e-book titled Courtney Comes Clean, which used the singer's confidential court documents as a source.

Courtney Love, in response to the allegations, says that she has a prescription for Xanax and has not taken Adderall since November 2010. Of her alleged cocaine use Love says: "I hate cocaine".
