Chris Langham was hit with nine new charges by police yesterday, adding to the 15 current child porn charges he is facing.
The The Thick Of It star reported to his local station to answer bail where he was told of the new offences. He was charged with eight counts of indecent assault, as well as one other sex offence.
The comedian-cum-actor is once again insistent that he will clear his name, and released a statement to that effect.
It reads: "I have today been charged with further offences by Kent Police. I have nothing further to add to what I have said previously, namely that I am determined to clear my name but cannot comment further on the allegations due to legal proceedings. I request once again that the privacy of my family is respected."
