David Walliams has revealed he made a marriage pact with Denise Van Outen earlier this year.

The Little Britain star admits that the two agreed to wed if neither had found true love within two years.

Talking on Parkinson, he said: "I do have a marriage pact with Denise Van Outen. We went on holiday together and we said that if we weren't married to anybody else in two years time we'd get married. Six months has gone by... that could happen, but we're just friends."

Both are currently single, with Van Outen splitting from her partner of three years in 2005.

Walliams added: "I think when she said it she was pretty much hoping she'd be wed in two years, so I may be pulling her down the aisle in tears!"
