David Morrissey weds long-term girlfriend

David Morrissey has married his long-term partner in a ceremony in Suffolk.
The Basic Instinct 2 star wed novelist Esther Freud in front of their children and one hundred guests last month after being together for fifteen years, but admitted the decision to have a summer wedding was based on practical not romantic reasons.
He told Contactmusic: "We've been talking about getting married for years. I didn't go down on one knee, though. It's not very romantic but we both had a break in August."
