Wax Tupac model makes journey to UK

A wax figure of Tupac Shakur has been unveiled in London's Madame Tussauds after travelling in from the US.
The waxwork of the controversial hip-hop legend was imported on loan from the attraction's sister site in Las Vegas - the city where he was shot dead in September 1996.
Its journey marks the 10th anniversary of his death and it is hoped its presence will provoke an emotional response from UK fans.
Tupac fan and MOBO award nominee DJ Semtex was at the party to welcome the newcomer. "It's tragic that he was taken away from us at such an early age, but he continues to be an icon and an inspiration to all," he commented. "The fact that Madame Tussauds has created a figure is proof that his spirit lives and continues to touch millions around the world".
A new street-style area has been created to host Tupac featuring speaker stacks and specially commissioned graffiti by cult London artist Alex Martinez. A shattered mirror in the display allows visitors to see the reflection of the star's trademark tattoos.
People can pay their respects to Tupac in a tribute book decorated with pieces of Tupac's poetry, which will later be presented to his mother Afeni.
