The singer and fashion designer, who welcomed her fourth child into the world in July last year, said that she regularly went running in a bid to shed the baby weight.
Victoria told Vogue magazine: "I worked out a lot. I ran a lot. I did it six days a week. I become quite obsessive when I get into something."
She also credited her clothing choices for often making her look slimmer than she is, saying: "I've never been a six-foot-tall, skinny model, so therefore I wanted to create an illusion. People think I'm taller than I am - not because of the shoes I wear but because of the way I dress. It's all relatively streamlined."
Victoria also said that she created her "sucky sucky" dress to give women "a little waist", adding: "It's great on the boobs, it's great on the bottom."
She talked about how she and husband David Beckham make their lives work when they're busy with their careers and have four children to look after, saying: "David and I make sure our schedules revolve around the kids. Because we are really focused on what we do work-wise - it allows us to be balanced."
