Corrie star speaks about affair reports

Bradley Walsh dedicated a stage show to his wife Donna this week.

The actor denied rumours of an affair with Coronation Street co-star Debra Stephenson and joked about his "funny week" during a comedy performance in Blackpool.

"A few people might have thought I might not turn up tonight, but I wouldn't let my family down, myself down or my public," he told the audience. "I'm doing this for my beautiful wife Donna. If you're interested, we're absolutely fine. I am doing this performance for the love of my life Donna Walsh, for my son and family and for you."

Complaining about the affair reports, Walsh added: "People in this country don't like to see you doing well. They want to knock you if you are successful. It's taken a lot of time to get where I am today. It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down, you always get up."
