The journalist has publicly insulted Madonna many times over the years, most recently reacting to the singer joining Twitter for one day by tweeting her that she's "still banned from [his] show".
When Madonna's manager Guy Oseary posted an October 2011 request for the popstar to appear on Morgan's UK series Life Stories, the CNN host responded: "Madonna's only been banned from my #CNN show @guyoseary - not my UK show, which sent that invite. But I'm now banning her from that too."
Morgan has now revealed that his animosity towards Madonna developed from a "private spat", but did also suggest that there was a way to end the feud.
"Madonna can come on [my] show, but she has to get on bended knee and apologise to me," Morgan boasted to TMZ.
A source close to Madonna responded to Morgan's comments by calling the CNN presenter "delusional" and claiming that "he isn't even on Madonna's radar".
Morgan has famously called Madonna "annoying" in the past and recently criticised her Super Bowl half-time performance.
