The Take That singer is currently visiting the islands, east of Papua New Guinea, as part of his tour of the Commonwealth states for an upcoming documentary to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Barlow and his crew are not allowed to leave the islands as there has been a cyclone warning for the next few days.
"We're stranded on an island in the Solomons," he wrote on Twitter. "There's a cyclone heading our way and there's no way off. Gonna have to sit it out!! (sic)".
Gary Barlow recently experienced drama on board a flight to South Africa when a passenger fell ill.
The X Factor judge was recently rumoured to miss the Judges' Houses stage of the competition in order to witness the birth of his new child.
