Channing Tatum dances for Sir Elton John at charity event - pictures

Channing Tatum and Sir Elton John kept guests entertained at the Revlon Concert for the Rainforest in New York last night (April 3).

Organised by Sting's wife Trudie Styler, the event staged at Carnegie Hall aims to raise funds and awareness to help save the Amazon rainforest.



The Vow star Tatum - dressed in a waistcoat and bowler hat - danced around the singer, while also reaching for his belt during the steamy comic routine.




While Tatum also took to the stage with his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum for another steamy routine, other performers on the night included Jennifer Hudson, Bruno Mars and Meryl Streep, who played the role of Dorothy while performing a number from The Wizard of Oz.

Celebrity guests, including Aretha Franklin, Sheryl Crow and Bill Clinton, also helped raise cash at a special dinner, where over £16,000 was paid at an auction to have Tom Hanks record voicemail messages.



Tatum - who worked as a dancer before forging a career in acting - stars in upcoming movie Magic Mike, which is based on his experiences as a male stripper.
