Kim Kardashian on Kanye West romance: 'I don't know what future holds'

By
Kim Kardashian has addressed rumours that she is dating Kanye West.

West alluded to his romantic feelings for Kardashian and insulted her estranged husband Kris Humphries in the newly released track 'Theraflu', in which he rapped: "I admit I fell in love with Kim/Round the same time she fell in love with him/That's cool, babygirl, do your thing/ Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."

The musician and Kardashian were spotted spending time together in New York City on Wednesday (April 4), with a friend of the reality star saying she is ready to commit to West.

Kardashian was asked directly whether she is dating West during an interview with Ann Curry on Today on Friday (April 6).

She answered: "I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions, but as I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years.

"You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me. So... I like the song!"

Kardashian also discussed her break-up with Humphries and suggested it is unlikely that his desire for an annulment will be granted.

"I'm sure I would love one myself, but you know, there's certain guidelines on how you can get one and I'm not sure that we fall under that," she explained.

"I'm really, out of respect for him, I try not to really talk about stuff involving him regarding that situation.... I'm just really ready to close that chapter. I have closed that chapter. I'm just really ready to move on."

Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries in October 2011, a mere 72 days after they tied the knot.
