Eva Longoria has split from her basketball star boyfriend, according to reports.

The Desperate Housewives actress is believed to have struggled with the strains of living in Los Angeles while Tony Parker stayed in Texas to play for the San Antonio Spurs. Rumours of a split started last week when Tony was spotted dancing and cuddling with a blonde ex-girlfriend at a nightclub.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Eva was devastated. The blonde was an ex-girlfriend of Tony, and they swapped numbers, but he swears nothing else happened.

"Tony and Eva did break up. It's amicable. They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. It's distance and careers and not living in the same city. It didn't happen yesterday. It's been going on for a while."

Yesterday a spokesperson for Longoria confirmed that the couple were going through a "difficult time".
