Carrie Underwood has confessed that she wished she had taken better care of her skin as a teen.

The 'Good Girl' singer, who is currently serving as the face of Olay cosmetics, shared her regrets about her facial regimen in a new interview with People.

"If I could go back and talk to my 15-year-old self I'd be like, 'Seriously, listen to your mum'," Underwood joked. "Drink more water, put more sunscreen on, moisturize. There are a lot of people like me who wish they did more."

Underwood went on to reveal that while she 'doesn't have time' to spend fussing over her appearance, she always makes an exception when it comes to trying out new make-up looks.

"I love to play with make-up. I will go into a make-up store and walk out and not even know what happened, carrying this giant bag of stuff. But I can, because I'm on stage - I can wear things that I can't otherwise. So I have a little bit of everything in my kit," she said.

Underwood recently insisted that she will never launch a fragrance line as she doesn't want people to smell like her.
