According to WENN, lawyers representing Love in several of her ongoing legal battles have asked permission to step down, citing a complete breakdown in communication.
Attorneys from law firm Pryor Cashman say that the former Hole frontwoman has failed to pay for her legal representation thus far, and has not been in touch with her lawyers for several months.
In court documents, firm partner James Janowitz claimed that Love has been "completely unresponsive" to his frequent attempts to reach her.
The 47-year-old singer was receiving legal counsel in several cases, including one regarding a lawsuit from her previous lawyers from firm Gordon & Holmes, who claimed Love tarnished their reputation via Twitter after being asked to refrain from substance abuse.
Love was also in a battle over leaked court papers regarding her 19-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain's restraining order against her.
A hearing is scheduled to take place in New York today, with further hearings in Los Angeles set for May.
