Heather Mills' personal trainer has dumped his long-term lover, according to the News of the World today.

Ben Amigoni's decision has left heartbroken Joanne Bradford wondering about the nature of his close relationship with Paul McCartney's estranged wife.

Joanne's dad Bernard told the newspaper: "My daughter's broken-hearted. It was when Paul and Heather split the problems started. Let's face it, would you want your partner working one-to-one as a trainer like that when the customer's marriage has broken up? Straight away you'll be jealous."

He added: "I spoke to Ben the other day and he was adamant that nothing is going on. He said, 'Look Bernard, there's no truth in it.' But now he's in America with Heather and he and Joanne have split up over it."

Joanne explained: "One minute we were really happy together and the next we're apart. It's a really tough time for me. I've spoken with Ben and he insisted he and Heather are just friends."
