The American Idol judge told Access Hollywood that he is "obsessed" with E.L. James's controversial book, which has become a bestseller and will even spawn a feature film.

"It's fascinating to see something like that capture the zeitgeist and also it's really interesting to read," Seacrest declared.
The host, who is dating Julianne Hough, then quipped: "I'm using it as a manual. I think it can be a study book for a lot of people. Parts of it can be a workbook."
Star Trek's Chris Pine recently revealed that he would like to star as manipulative businessman Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
"It'd be a hell of a choice for me, I think. It sounds like an interesting film," Pine said.
Ian Somerhalder has also been linked to playing Christian Grey in the upcoming film.
