Longoria takes another one-set tumble

Eva Longoria has bruised her ribs after falling down stairs on the set of Desperate Housewives.

The star, who plays saucy Gabrielle Solis, was taken to hospital straight from filming for the US show.

Liza Anderson, Longoria's publicist, said the actress was shaken but not seriously hurt.

"Eva slipped on one of the stairs coming out of her trailer," she explained. "Nothing is broken, but her ribs are very bruised."

The incident follows one last August when Longoria was rushed to hospital while filming after being hit on the head by some equipment. Then, in April, a light bulb exploded on set injuring co-star Teri Hatcher.
