Last season's Dancing With The Stars winner welcomed his first daughter Lauryn Anabelle on Wednesday evening.
Martinez's partner Diana Gonzalez-Jones delivered their daughter in a Los Angeles hospital, and the new baby weighed in at 7lb, 13oz.
The Iraq war veteran also revealed that she measured up at 21 inches long.
Martinez told People: "She's already got a nickname - Belle."
The 28-year-old recently said that he and Gonzalez-Jones intended to choose a name that was "really close and personal to us [and] that feels like we're giving something to her that is very special".
Martinez added of the new arrival: "She has a couple of cute little freckles on her cheeks, a full head of hair and the cutest little lips.
"It's just amazing to see her, finally. She's beautiful."
Martinez and Gonzalez-Jones met when he landed a role on All My Children in 2008.
The couple announced last December that they were expecting their first child.
