The Desperate Housewives star, who was previously crowned Miss America 1984, was asked about events such as those seen on the television show Toddlers and Tiaras during an appearance on Anderson.
During the interview, Anderson Cooper asked Williams if she believes the children involved are being pushed into it.
"I think they don't know what they're doing," she replied. "But when the child is screaming and saying, 'I don't wanna do this, I don't feel like doing it', when they're using a special juice to get them hyped... That's not my world."
Williams added: "I would never have my kids do that!"
The final season of Desperate Housewives continues on Sundays on ABC.
