A video of Kate Upton dancing enthusiastically in her bikini was temporarily removed from YouTube.
The model stripped off and danced to 'Cat Daddy' by Rej3ctz for a visual art piece by photographer Terry Richardson.
However, the raunchy clip was pulled from YouTube yesterday (May 2) and fixed with a content warning when it finally returned to the site.
"With the massive volume of videos on our site, sometimes we make the wrong call," a YouTube representative told Entertainment Weekly.
"When it's brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it."
Upton's profile received a boost in February when she was announced as the cover girl for Sports Illustrated's 2012 swimsuit issue.
Footage of her dancing to the track 'Teach Me How to Dougie' from April 2011 subsequently went viral.
