Nicki Minaj stars in new Pepsi ad - watch

Nicki Minaj's new Pepsi ad has been released.

The 'Starships' singer performs her song 'Moment 4 Life' in the new promo, which features two people running through various frozen tableaux after taking a sip of Pepsi.


At the end of the ad, the two come across Minaj, who is frozen in the middle of a performance. They open a can of Pepsi and she comes to life once more.

The ad centres around the theme 'Live for Now' and a description attached to the video asks viewers to "imagine all that's happening right NOW around the world.

"Then imagine if you could experience it all at once. Pepsi and Nicki Minaj invite everyone to LIVE FOR NOW," the description concludes.

Certain cans from this campaign will feature Michael Jackson's image, as well as the chance to win leather jackets based on the singer's style.

Jackson previously partnered with Pepsi in 1983. His hair caught fire while shooting an ad for the soft drink in 1984, leading to severe burns.
