The Australia's Got Talent judge was admitted for treatment overnight on Thursday (May 10). He had been scheduled to take part in a charity "kissing booth" outside the 2DayFM studios today (May 11) in aid of cancer charity The McGrath Foundation.
"Unfortunately Kyle's had to go to hospital with a bit of a health scare, but he's okay," broadcasters Southern Cross Austereo confirmed on the show's Facebook page.
"This means that we've had to postpone the kissing booth today. But don't worry, we still want you to save your kisses and coins for The McGrath Foundation - we'll be announcing a new date real soon!"
It was later revealed that Sandilands has been discharged following what the station described as "a blood pressure scare", and is now resting at home.
The broadcaster was admitted to hospital in March 2011 following a similar health scare.
Model Didier Cohen filled in as a guest presenter on Friday morning's 2DayFM breakfast show alongside Sandilands's regular co-host Jackie O. He joined the team as a roving reporter earlier this year.
