'Bridget Jones' pants fail to sell on eBay

Bridget Jones' knickers have failed to sell on eBay, despite offers of nearly £4,000.
The garment was auctioned by Anna Mann, who purchased them in September from a charity auction in London. She attempted to resell them to raise extra money for The Royal Parks Foundation, the charity that benefited from the original sale.
The pants reached £3,900 but did not surpass Mann's reserve price, however she may still relinquish them to the highest bidder. "Basically sellers set their own reserve price," said an eBay spokesman. "It's possible the seller could accept the last offer that they have had for the item."
