Elton John counsels Keane frontman

Music legend Elton John has reportedly been counselling Keane frontman Tom Chaplin as he battles with alcohol and drug addiction.

According to The Mirror, Elton John contacted the pop star after hearing news that he had checked himself into rehabilitation for cocaine and alcohol abuse.

A source revealed: "Tom's had so much support after going into rehab but he never expected it would come from someone like Sir Elton John.

"Tom was moved by the gesture and they've been in touch frequently. Elton knows exactly what Tom's going through."

Chaplin, 27, came out of The Priory clinic two weeks ago but has continued to have treatment.
