Denise Welch's ex-husband Tim Healy: "We will always love each other"

Denise Welch's ex-husband Tim Healy has spoken for the first time about the breakdown of his 24-year marriage.

The Auf Wiedersehen, Pet actor believes he will "always" be "best friends" with the Loose Women star.

"There's no arguing - we're happy," he told The Mirror. "Things couldn't be better and the kids are getting used to it.

"We will always love each other, we're like best friends and always will be. We are getting on better than ever."

Healy added: "Now I've got a new young lady and we get on great. Denise has got a boyfriend, that's okay too."

Celebrity Big Brother 2012 winner Welch, who confirmed the split in February, has made her relationship with toyboy Lincoln Townley public.

Meanwhile, Healy is "in love" with 50-year-old cleaner Joan.
