Justin Bieber: 'Selena Gomez trusted me on Mariah Yeater baby rumours'

Justin Bieber has revealed that girlfriend Selena Gomez was not upset over rumours that he fathered a child with Mariah Yeater.

Yeater, 20, filed a paternity suit against Bieber in November 2011, claiming that the teen popstar was her 3-month-old child's biological father.



Bieber strenuously denied that he'd ever been intimate with Yeater and even took a paternity test to prove it.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Bieber disclosed what he told Gomez when news of the paternity scandal first broke.

Bieber said: "She [called and] was, like, 'Do you see what they're saying on the Internet?' I was like 'Yeah.' She was, like, 'So...' I was, like 'No, it's not true'.

"[Selena said,] 'Okay, thank you, bye!' That was it... She trusts me!"



Bieber has since written a song about the scandal and even took to Twitter in April to openly mock Yeater's claims.

The 18-year-old musician ducked questions about his virginity in his recent chat with The Sunday Times.
