An artist from Cranford, Essex has impressed the art world by toasting pictures of celebrities onto pieces of bread.
Lennie Payne's toasted impressions of famous figures such as Elvis Presley and Benny Hill have recently received critical acclaim and are currently selling at £2,000 a piece.
Mr Payne has been working with toast for over 10 years and first got the idea when making shapes with bread in order to entertain his young daughter.
He has recently had his first gallery viewing in London's West End.
While he hopes to be a full time artist at some time, Mr Payne earns his living as a painter and decorator. Talking to the BBC he commented: "You've got to earn your bread and butter somehow."
