Wesley Snipes indicted for tax fraud

Wesley Snipes could face up to 16 years of imprisonment after being indicted on eight counts of tax fraud. However, authorities are unable to locate the actor in order to arrest him.
The Blade star is accused of filing false refund claims, amounting to an estimated $12 million shortfall in income tax payments in 1996 and 1997. The actor is also alleged to have not filed tax returns between 1999 and 2004.
